Faith, Language, and Why La Casita Was Born
How it all started.
La Casita Spanish Academy was born from prayer, conviction, and a deep desire to steward the gifts God has given me.
Language has always been part of my faith journey. I grew up praying in Spanish, reading Scripture in Spanish, and hearing biblical truths spoken with the warmth and rhythm of my native tongue. Faith wasn’t separate from culture, it was woven into it.
As I raised my own children, I felt a growing nudge:
What if language learning could also be a space of values, respect, kindness, and intentional care?
La Casita is not just a language program.
It is a space where:
Children are treated with patience and dignity
Learning is joyful, not pressured
Culture is honored
Faith quietly informs how we teach, love, and lead
While Spanish is the focus, character matters just as much. I believe education should nurture the whole child — mind, heart, and spirit.
La Casita exists because I wanted to create something meaningful, gentle, and lasting — a place where language learning feels like home.
